If you’re a dedicated reader of I Heart ROC, you may have noticed that we recently started including a new question in our interviews. It’s okay if you didn’t notice; we won’t judge you. The new question is: “Do you have a favorite local charity/nonprofit you like to support?”
Here at I Heart ROC, it’s important to us not only to shine a spotlight on the great people in our great community doing great things, but also to actually take action and strive to help improve Rochester. Whether that’s through volunteering, donating food and clothing, or providing financial support, every little bit of assistance helps the amazing nonprofits and charities we have here. The holidays are, at heart, a season about giving. We wanted to highlight a few local charities and nonprofits, just in case you are feeling in the spirit to give back.
